Support SA Buy Local – F&B recipient of the week – Sarah Neill
The amazingly talented Sarah was one of our inaugural recipients in 2007. Her awards at that time included Gold for SA Bakeskills Australia, Gold for National Bakeskills Australia, Gold for State Worldskills Australia, 2006 Apprentice of the Year for SA and Runner-up for 2006 National Apprentice of the Year – truly outstanding.
Her passion for the food sector had her completing a Cert III Bakery and Pastry Apprenticeship at TAFESA and she gained experience and skills from working with some of the best chefs and bakers during her employment at Stamford Grand Hotel and Hyatt Regency. Following on to Bracegirdles her passion for chocolates was determined and she continues her contribution to the sector having worked at various places including Tealicious Cakes.
Sarah believes her achievements are truly a reflection of the numerous mentors she has had over the years, and the support and teachings they invested in her. We agree but think she is pretty talented too!
