Food and Beverage Development Fund assisted me in 2014. I originally applied (and was approved) to study online from SA and thought I would lose my funding when we decided to temporarily move to the UK, but the Fund acknowledged what a great opportunity it was to live and study overseas, and their funding provided for my course costs and materials. I was able to study for the International Brewers and Distillers Diploma while I was living in London, and attend flavour development tasting and training at the IBD Beer Academy – a once in a lifetime opportunity!

I was proud to bring this knowledge and training back to my home state of South Australia, and improve the quality of South Australian brewing just that little bit!
