Cheesemaking had started to become an obsession for Alija when she attended the Artisan Cheese Making Academy Australia in 2013 and completed a Cert III Food Processing (Cheese).
With her family having a dairy farm in the Barossa she was looking to the future and wanted to own her own wholesale Cheese Factory with a retail outlet. Unfortunately Covid destroyed those plans but there is no doubting the passion and commitment that Alija has for the cheese industry in SA.
