Tools and Resources
The Food Tourism & Hospitality Industry Skills Advisory Council SA Inc trading as FTH Skills Council was established in 2004 to work with industry, community and government to develop industry specific work plans, identify workforce trends and emerging skill needs and consider issues relating to career advice and the attraction and retention of a skilled workforce. FTH Skills Council represented the interests of the food and beverage processing and manufacturing, tourism and hospitality industries in South Australia.
FTH Skills Council remained operational until December 2015 and was formally wound up in early 2016.
The Cooks and Bakers Trade Recognition processes were transferred to Food & Beverage Development Fund who managed the process from 2016-2021.
Food & Beverage Development Fund agreed to host the following Resources which had been created by FTH Skills Council and its industry sectors as the resources are simply too important to lose. Please note that documents were current at the time of publication and are provided for historical information purposes only.
