SUPPORT PAYMENT PACKAGES

The funding available for each successful application is expected to range between $1,000 and $10,000.  You simply need to tell us about yourself, about the training you want to do and how that training will benefit you.

As part of the application process, applicants are asked to provide specific details of the nature of the support they are seeking through the support payment. Applications should include quotations for costs associated with expenditure items such as course fees, travel costs, books, equipment, etc and MUST provide evidence/supporting documentation for these costs to be considered.  Equipment and uniform costs will only be considered if they are an essential component of the training included in the application.

If you would like to know what sort of training has been funded in the past please look at the Support Payment Recipients page where information is available about all of our Support Payment recipients and what their funding has been used for.

Final package details and expected completion date is to be agreed between successful applicant and selection panel.  Support payments are paid promptly either direct to provider of service upon receipt of valid invoice or via reimbursement to successful recipient.  Any travel costs or international currency conversion costs would be paid via reimbursement with receipt and evidence of conversion to Australian $ payment.

Please note: Support payments may or may not be taxable depending upon your individual circumstances.  We strongly suggest you seek independent financial advice.
