Cellar Door Awards 2015

Kangaroo Island Spirits were delighted to learn today that our Rustic Cellar Door has received the award for offering “The Best Tasting Experience” in our region (Southern Fleurieu / Kangaroo Island) in Gourmet Traveller WINE’s Annual Cellar Door Awards, 2015. 

200+ cellar doors around the country were featured in the awards and of them Kangaroo Island Spirits is the only Distillery cellar door to receive recognition nation wide.

Jon and Sarah Lark would like to thank Sophie Sheridan and all our staff for their continuing passion, and their dedication to ensuring visitors to KIS have the best tasting experience. 

Visitors to the KIS Cellar Door are increasing annually, with numbers this March up 50% on last year. Over winter we plan to expand the Cellar Door and install a second still.

The work on our grounds and new Aromatic Gin Garden by Andrew is attracting great feedback from many visitors, and we look forward to expanding the overall Gin experience for everyone who comes to the Distillery.
